Our Starlink subject matter experts (SMEs) conducted an initial offsite assessment to gather the customer’s requirements for the Starlink installation using satellite imagery and customer-provided onsite photos. Following this, our team performed an onsite survey to:
🔹Identify the most optimal installation point for the Starlink dish by performing an obstruction test to ensure a clear and unobstructed line of sight to the sky.
🔹Determine appropriate mounting solution for secure and stable dish placement.
🔹Verify the most efficient cable path and entry point into the building with customer approval, along with the designated indoor cable termination location.
🔹Assess the need for longer Ethernet cable and other necessary tools and materials to achieve proper connectivity to the Starlink network.
Following the onsite survey, the SMEs sent an installation proposal for customer’s approval. Once approved and the equipment was confirmed onsite, the installation schedule was coordinated with our Starlink installers in Tucson, AZ.

The Starlink installation in Tucson, AZ started by mounting the Starlink dish on the confirmed location from the result of the obstructions test. The SataMount screw was securely installed on metal roof and attached the pivot mount with the Starlink dish.
Our team run the Starlink cable from the dish, routed downward along the roof’s edge using UV-rated cable clips. The cable descent along the exterior wall and created an entry point sealed with silicon sealant to prevent water intrusion. Inside the facility, cable run into the network area, where it connects to the Starlink Power Supply Unit (PSU).
The Starlink connection is integrated into port 1 of the SD-WAN security appliance to establish primary network connectivity to the warehouse facility.
Following the equipment installation, the team performed the Starlink dish alignment to ensure clear line of sight to the satellite network. The team test the performance of the Starlink through speed test as shown in the images below.
Performance Evaluation:
🔹Download Performance: An upload of 319.83 Mbps demonstrates enterprise-grade bandwidth delivery, aligning with expected Starlink Enterprise performance levels, which typically range from 150–350 Mbps depending on network load and sky visibility. Bandwidth is sufficient for high-demand environments such as multi-user offices, surveillance systems or site-to-site VPNs.
🔹Upload Performance: An upload speed of 40.74 Mbps exceeds typical Starlink Business averages (20–30 Mbps), reflecting optimized upstream capacity. Outstanding for cloud synchronization, VoIP, and remote desktop sessions.
🔹Latency: A 32 ms ping is exceptional for a satellite link, confirming low orbital latency from the LEO constellation. Supports latency-sensitive applications such as live streaming, video conferencing and remote management.
