After the initial offsite assessment, we received the customer’s approval for the job order and arranged the installation schedule with our Starlink installers in Zebulon, GA.
Our Starlink installation team arrived onsite to perform the following scope of work:

To begin the dish installation, a Starlink Obstructions Test was done using the Starlink App. This crucial step helped determine the optimal placement for the dish, ensuring a strong and reliable connection to the Starlink satellite network. The Starlink Standard dish was securely mounted using a pivot mount for maximum stability and signal reception.
We utilized a cable routing kit to ensure a clean, weather-resistant installation for proper sealing and cable management. The proprietary Starlink cable was neatly routed from the outdoor dish to the indoor Gen 3 WiFi Mesh Router, positioned in a customer-approved location to optimize WiFi coverage and signal strength throughout the home.
The SSID and password was setup for secure WiFi network access.
The customer was given a walkthrough on how to use the Starlink App.
After the installation, our team performed a Starlink Alignment Test to ensure the dish was in the best possible position for continuous satellite connectivity. The process included carefully assessing the dish’s position, considering the elevation angle, azimuth direction, and potential obstructions (e.g., trees, buildings, or other structures).
Using the Starlink alignment test on the Starlink app, our technicians ensured that the dish was in a clear, unobstructed line of sight with the sky. This is a vital factor for ensuring a stable connection and fewer service interruptions.
Then, the Starlink Speed Test was conducted to test the system’s internet performance. It should be noted that Starlink can take as long as 12 hours to synchronize with the satellite network completely.
