We received the customer’s approval of the proposal and coordinated the installation schedule with our Starlink installers in Auburn, CA.
The Starlink installers arrived onsite as scheduled and kick-off the installation process by performing the Starlink obstructions test. The chosen location was verified to have a 'Good Experience' rating in various online activities as shown in the image below.
The installation team mounted the Starlink Standard dish to the wall under the roof using a standard wall mount. The placement was carefully selected to ensure structural stability, proper cable routing and a clear line of sight to the satellite network.
Following the dish installation, the team routed the Starlink cable along the home’s exterior eaves, creating a clean and discreet pathway. The cable was secured with weather-resistant wall clips at regular intervals, maintaining a neat cable management.
When the cable reached the indoor, it is connected to the Gen3 WiFi mesh router. The router was turned on, activated and configured for user's SSID and password. We provided the customer with Starlink app walkthrough on how to manage the Starlink system.
With the Starlink system installation completed, a final Starlink alignment test was performed. This is to verify that dish was positioned to the clear line of sight to the satellite network.
To verify the Starlink system performance, a Starlink speed test was conducted. The results confirmed excellent satellite internet connectivity, with a download speed of 432 Mbps, an upload speed of 32 Mbps and 23 ms of latency. This excellent speed test result is more than capable of supporting demanding online activities such as 4K video streaming, large file downloads, video conferencing and multiple users simultaneously.
