Our Starlink installation SMEs received a service request for Starlink and WIFi installation in San Francisco, CA. They performed an initial offsite assessment by analzing the satellite map views of the property and customer-provided photos. With complexity of the installation, a site survey was performed to:

🔹 Document rooftop and all installation points with photos.

The Starlink installers securely mounted the Starlink performance dish using pipe adapter mount and non-penetrating roof mount. It is positioned to the location verified by the Obstructions test perfomed duirng site survey.
The mount was stabilized with cinder blocks and protected with EPDM mat. The Performance cable was routed from rofftop to the indoor location of the IT network equipment where the Gen 3 router and advanced power supply was positioned.
The Performance, Ethernet and AC DC cables were plugged into the advanced power supply and powered on. Then the Ethernet cable was connected from the Gen 3 router. Activated the Starlink system and integrated into the existing network.
A Starlink alignment test is done to ensure that the Starlink dish is optimally positioned to maintain a strong connection with the satellite.
The Starlink Internet Speed Test was done to verify internet connection and measure its performance.
It is important to note that Starlink may achieve optimal performance after 12 hours of the installation.
