To ensure a successful Starlink deployment, a site survey visit to was done to:
🔹Identify the optimal dish installation point
🔹Plan cable routing, entry and termination
🔹Determine power supply mounting location
🔹Recommend installation approach
🔹Verify installation materials and equipment
🔹Develop installation floor plan
🔹Document installation point and site conditions with photos
Our Starlink SMEs sent the installation proposal for customer’s approval. Once approved and the equipment was confirmed onsite, our team coordinated the installation schedule with our Starlink installers in League City, TX.
The Starlink installation in League City, TX has the following scope of work:
🔹Starlink Dish Installation – It is securely mounted on the building’s corrugated steel wall using a vertical pole mount secured with galvanized steel brackets. The mounting pole extends above the roofline to ensure a clear line of sight to the sky, minimizing obstructions and optimizing satellite connectivity.

🔹Starlink Cable Management – Routed the Starlink cable from the dish through a clean entry point sealed using a sealing grommet and adhesive sealant to prevent moisture ingress and maintain a watertight barrier. From inside, run the cable to the MDF location where advanced power supply will be setup.
🔹Advanced Power Supply Mounting – Install the Starlink Advanced Power Supply in the MDF/server room.

🔹Starlink Integration as Failover Connection – An Ethernet cable is connected from the Starlink power supply Ethernet adapter to Port 2 (secondary WAN port) of the SD WAN device. This port is configured as a failover or backup internet connection.

Following the Starlink dish installation, the team carried out a Starlink alignment test to verify precise dish alignment for strong satellite network reception.

Starlink speed test is performed to evaluate the Starlink connectivity and performance after installation. It displays the three metrics such as download speed, upload speed and latency.

These results confirm that the Starlink system is operating at optimal performance parameters, ensuring reliable, high-speed internet for the facility’s operational requirements.
NOTE: Starlink may require up to 12 hours to fully optimize its connection. During this initial period, temporary speed fluctuations or brief dropouts may occur. However, once the system stabilizes, it delivers a reliable and high-speed internet connection.
