Our Starlink installation SMEs received a service request for Starlink and WiFi Installation in Boca Raton, FL. To process the service request, the following processes were executed:
An initial offsite assessment was carried out to gather information about the structure of the property and site conditions. Using satellite imagery and customer-provided onsite photos, our team able to assess the installation points, suitable mounting hardware, cable routing plan and list of installation materials needed.
After the assessment, the installation plan was sent over to the customer for approval. Once approved, the installation schedule was coordinated with our certified Starlink installers in Boca Raton, FL.
The installation started with a Starlink obstructions test to identify the optimal location for installing the Starlink dish. Based on the result, the chosen location has a "Good experience" rating for all online activities.
The Starlink dish was securely installed at an elevated position on the black metal beam using an adjustable wall mount.
The Starlink cable was then neatly routed from the dish to the indoor location of the Gen 3 router. Once inside, the Starlink cable and power adapter were connected to the router, which was centrally positioned in the house for better WiFi coverage. 
The Starlink router was powered on and allowed to complete its initialization. Following initialization, the Starlink service was activated, and the wireless WIFI network was configured with a custom SSID and secure password to establish a protected WiFi connection. The customer was given a walkthrough on how to use the Starlink App.
After the Starlink equipment installation, a Starlink alignment test was performed for precise positioning of the dish to the satellite network. This is essential for Starlink uninterrupted and optimal performance.
Then a Starlink Speed Test was performed to check the connection’s performance. The test provides key metrics like download speed, upload speed and latency.
It is important to note that Starlink may take up to 12 hours to fully optimize its connection after activation or installation.
